After seeing a post on reddit from game developer Chris DeLeon, I decided to get in touch with him and offer my expertise to help improve his site. Chris is prolific in his content creation, but didn’t have the experience or desire to work on its presentation. We worked closely on this project to develop a site where he can easily produce his free development tutorials, give info about his mentoring, and showcase some of the games he and his pupils have produced.
This was the first project under my internal initiative to work on game developer and organization sites for free. After seeing Chris’s willingness to share his knowledge and talents with a community I identify strongly with, I decided to do the same. Chris is giving back, and now so am I.
