When Parkcrest Storage approached our creative team at Prodigy Pixel, they wanted something different. They were a new business opening their doors at the height of the economic crisis and they knew they needed to hit the ground running – and that meant a lean and mean web presence that was appealing and made their information easily presentable to their potential customers. Something welcoming that took the general drabness associated with storage units and flung it over a cliff.

Storage facilities conjure images of asphalt, concrete, and steel gates. We decided to work from the idea of growth and move outward. Storage units are needed when growth occurs, to store items of value when you’ve accumulated too much, and as a means to help businesses develop. Security measures like cameras and locks are in abundance (for good reason), but that can create an oppressive feeling. The bright colors and open design of the site serve to minimize this impression and prepare potential customers for a friendly visit before they’ve ever set foot on the business grounds.

Parkcrest was a dream to work with during the project course, and the end result is just what they needed.
