Allen Filters Inc.
Allen Filters is one of those rare companies that has survived the test of time, having been in existence for over sixty years. They produce customized oil and water filtration systems, which sounds fairly mundane. There’s a really cool set of side facts to their products though:
- Using a customized filtration solution helps eliminate unnecessary waste being dumped into the environment.
- Their filtering solutions specialize in recycling a high amount of fluid, meaning that less is consumed over time.
- Because of the recycling capability of their products, one filtering product can save a company millions a year in fluid or lubricant costs.
I was responsible for the global design of this site, which was the work of Chris Austin at PLS Creative Solutions; so all props for that go to him. My job was to take his design and integrate it into a usable CMS system for Allen Filters. There were a few design tweaks I made along the way to get things to fit correctly, but this was definitely a two-person job.
